1. Discuss the successfulness of the project:

Write a written response of how successful your final idea was

I believe that my project was very successful and I think this because the whole process of the filming and editing as well as planning went very well and the overall outcome I was happy with and I think that it is very effective because it is simple but effective and I think that it sells the products shown and it shows of a lot of the main things that I wanted it to show such as these figures and the cation features and other key elements. So to me this is very effective and successful due to the success of the advert and what is shows and how the post production and preproduction was simple and successful whilst being effective

Discuss the suitability of your moving image and print based advert for its intended purpose.

I believe that the print based adverts matched with the advert are very effective and suitable for what they were intended to do because they are suitable for who they are advertised to because they are not aggressive or violent and they are full of bright and colorful images that are child friendly and entertaining and the same goes for the advert which makes these suitable because these could be viewed at any time and they are not dangerous but are also suitable because they show the product in a good alight and they show a lot of positive features making them child friendly and for its purpose makes it suitable and making them suitable i think that i have done because they have the product in center stage and they have the main features shown showing it in full light making the advert suitable because it is exiting and interesting and thrilling for children

What aspects of it works best?

for me what works is the color there are a lot of bright and eye catching color as well as there is the way the product is shown because it shows the whole products well as all of the action  features in the set as well as it shows it interacting with some of the other sets that are in the collection to grab imaginations

What aspects of it needed improving, and how would you improve them if you had more time?

 if i had more time i would go through and make sure that when i was filming to re check the camera shot every time i set up for another scene because when i checked the footage it was grainy of some shots and as  a whole it was very dark . In the final edit i had to add an adjustment layer but apart from the camera issues on my part i think that it went well and as a whole successful because the main post and pre production elements were simple effective and efficient helping me severely and making it easier and more effective to the filming and editing process.

Write a written response of how successful you adverts are for your profiled target audience.

my advert was very successful to my target audience and there was one complaint about it but that has been solved due to the fact that it is a very jumpy and unsteady scene / pan of the models but i then have gone through and fixed that issue and my target audience of parents was very happy and pleased with it and thought it was good and i asked him if he saw that advert would he have bought it for his son and he said he would because on the fact of that advert is informative and keeps you wanting to keep looking and it would attract a wide range of people towards Lego as a product.

Decide how relevant your project was for the intended target audience through evaluating / discussing its impact and content.

i think that it is relevant because it is aimed at parents to sell the product for there children and i think that it is doing this so that it is important and relevant and for the intended target audience because it had a positive impact on the viewer and make want to buy the products that were shown and well as for the content and it shows and explores the range and depth of Lego products and a whole world of Lego all of which is on display encouraging them

a) How you identified the correct Target Audience through found research.

b) How you made all of the research relevant to the Target Audience.

i looked at the era where toys were better and sold a lot as well as i looked at the common features of toy adverts and i try to spot what it was that they used to draw kids in the main things that i saw and then implemented was the way that they use a lot of bright color to make it more eye catching as well as that every toy is shown in a kids bedroom or in there garden it is as if they use it to make it more relate able so the kid could picture it in there room playing with it as well as the main feature which i tried to implement the most with in mine is the fact that they have been showing the toy and all of its action features and what they do so that they have a better idea of what there buying and if you show of action features such as it can fly or it shoots missiles it would be a lot more desirable to the buyer

c) How you compared different research found from different channels and used them to support and develop your project - and how this was effective in identifying the Target Audience.

the two i am comparing is the original Lego adverts as well as the advertisement techniques that I have looked through and i think that they are very similar  because they all base the same sort of principle and they have similar techniques that I have noticed so that they have a large impression on children minds these are very effective with in my advert because they use and describe lot of poor and giving the feeling that you want to be the first kid on your road to have this all new exiting toy and that is what I tried to capture there imagination so that they have to be the first to buy then there is weasel words which show that they are misleading and they have been used in other adverts for children and I saw this here showing that kids advert and other adverts that I have looked at have differant opinion on the some adverts other than children do this and they say maybe or might a lot so therefor I have not used these because I believe that they were misleading and I read this when I went through and wrote my script because I wanted mine to be clear and encouraging

Evaluate how you used your research in progressing the idea to create the final product.

a) The journey you took, evaluating what you did, reflecting on what decisions you made to create the product.

when the project first started i originally wanted to do my advert around an 80s toy such as the gi joe / action force toy line but at the time i did not have any at home so i decide to do it on Lego which is my favorite toy as well as one of my favorite thing of all time and i have been wanting to do this for a while so i decided to just do it and to be fair there wasn't much confusion or  choice in the rest of the product because it all went very smoothly but the only other thing that was a decision in my project is the fact that when i went home and started production i saw that the original area that i wanted to have my advert set was way to small and it had a really bad lighting problem where no matter what you did in the room it would have been really dark and you could not see a thing whether it was in the room or in the  center of the frame you could not see what was going on so that i could not have the shots effect or atmosphere that i had but i found a new location which worked just as well and have better lighting and yet still having the effect that i wanted to have int he room so that it gave the feeling and atmosphere in it that i wanted.

b) Compare the processes you selected progress the project in stages. Reflect on whether they were effective.

i think that my skills are even but i think that my skills were a lot successful in Photoshop and premier but i think that my audio skills were not as successful and would need more work

 Discuss how you could have improved your research based on your response above.

a) Comment on all of your research channels that you selected that were too limited and could have been studied in more depth.

i believe that my advertisements were not in depth enough and could of helped me a lot more with some shots if i had looked into them more but i think that i still had enough to go on but if i had looked into certain ones such as weasel words i could have incorporated them into the script and would have been more useful as well as i think if i had done my questionnaire as well as interviews a bit sooner than it would have of been easier to plan my project as well as what i needed to put into my edit to give it the effect or atmosphere to to showcase what it needed.

b) Comment on what type of research was actually missing from your project.

i am missing research that is related to reading material although i used google books in one of my types of research and as a reference to explain as one of my points

c) Comment on any Weaknesses in your understanding and identification of Target Audience through the use of research.

i do not think so the target for my research and finished product is where it  needed to be and i thought it through quite a lot and i think that i understand what my target audience is and what they needed to be to get the right reaction but i think that i understand my target audience and what there interests are as well as what i need to do to get there attention and a good enough reaction

Media knowledge. Talk about the knowledge in media production and advertising that you have gained and how effectively it was used to create your final project. Indicate areas that you feel you need more understanding of in the future to improve.

i have learnt several things whilst during the process of making my advert and my three print based product such as using different text and image effects such as 
gradient overlay

inner glow

outer glow 

drop shadow 

inner shadow 

contour and texture 

to get the desired effects that i wanted to give effects that i wanted so that it give the theme that i wanted as well but these are all of the main things that i used for the backgrounds as well as most of the individual graphics also i have learnt to use  adjustment layer which adds an effect that will cover everything bellow it which is very helpful and something that i will use a lot more knowing that it is there as well as it is not really a new skill but i have learnt a lot more about using the camera because it is a lot better getting it hands on as well as there is something nice about doing home getting a lot more practice and so that it is not as rushed helping me learn.

i believe that i have used a wide range of skills and i believe that they are very effective because i am very confident with the software and equipment and i think that they are simple when you understand them but the only thing is i would like more help with sound because i am not very confident but i think that the rest of the software i am fine with but i would like to develop my audio skill due tot he fact that i do not understand it and i would like to expand on Photoshop as well

the only area that needs improvement is the opening and the part that it seamed a lot more dark because it was awful before i added the adjustment layer but i think that it is
